The Make Medicare Work Coalition is a collaborative project between AgeOptions, Health & Disability Advocates, and Progress Center for Independent Living. This collaboration is the only one of its kind in the nation, joining aging and disability agencies together to provide effective Medicare education and outreach and policy development. The Coalition has reached hundreds of thousands of Illinois Medicare consumers through its outreach and work with Coalition participants and has used this on-the-ground experience to formulate workable public policy proposals to improve the Medicare Program and prescription drug coverage for seniors and persons with disabilities in Illinois.
